You can’t afford NOT to have MulePAC
On occasion, we hear from some military units that are not sure they can afford MulePAC. Our answer is always the same:
You can’t afford not to have it.
If a military unit isn’t using any type of secondary containers, it’s not hard to understand how MulePAC can help. These units see high volumes of equipment damage during deployment and redeployment, which means it must be replaced. Likewise, lack of a secondary containment system results in damaged supplies during field storage and reordering due to lack of visibility. During sustainment operations, their trucks are not filled to capacity, meaning more trips through war zones. The lack of containers wastes countless resources, man hours, dollars and can ultimately cost lives.
But what if a unit is already using some type of cardboard multipack or logpac? Designed for industrial use, these containers simply cannot stack up to the demands placed upon them in a war zone. Initially, they are cheaper, but over time they actually cost troops much more money. Light rain or snow weaken the cardboard containers causing them to fail. They are also easily punctured or busted during shipping. Not only must the easily-damaged containers be replaced often, military units still sustain loss of supplies and equipment when the containers fail.
All MulePACs come with a permanent document pouch to log in the contents increasing your supply visibility and reducing the cost of reordering materials you already have but cannot find.
Considering the cost of repeatedly replacing damaged equipment, destroyed or lost supplies and, of course, the cardboard logpacs, MulePACs are the only shipping solution that makes sense, monetarily and logistically.
Consider your secondary containers or lack thereof and ask yourself how much of your budget has been wasted replacing damaged equipment and supplies. If you’re ready for a permanent solution to your logistical problems, contact us today.
